Solstice · Rectangular coffee table

Solstice is a rectangular coffee table, 1,200 × 600 mm, long and low, with softened corners and a shelf beneath for what you don’t want on top. A long table for a long sofa.

Look along the long edge: it isn’t straight. The long sides bow out, just slightly. The four angled legs locate in slots cut into the underside of the top and pass through the edge of the shelf, where bolts hold them.

Solid oak, hand-finished in Rubio Monocoat in Charcoal, Light Roast or Dunes. Designed and manufactured on the Dolphin Coast.

Six flat parts. It travels flat and goes together solid. If a part is ever damaged, it can be cut again from the same drawing and replaced. You keep the table.
